    Default Trans Lock Up

Found some helpful info on different ways to lockup your trans, I've heard a setup from an early Canadian Export and a Diesel will also work, I'm currently looking in my Olds manuals for the required components and a schematic but the info is in the link as well:

About 20 years ago I had a 83' Camaro that I converted from cross fire fuel injection to carburetor. Needless to say the lock up didn't work. My extremely cheap answer was a very small toggle switch taped to my console shifter with the wire running down into the console along the shifter. I would just toggle it on and off as needed (grounding out the TC solenoid). You had to always remember to toggle it off when stopping or it would lug like a stick shift at low speed wanting to stall out. It became second nature to me when using it and was kind of fun to play with. Probably cost 10 bucks.
