Dash Trim refresh

Gotta a few good looking dash pieces, but the chrome like lines on them are fading. Does anyone know how to freshen them up?

You can use aluminum leaf or a simple aluminum colored paint marker (won't be shinny).
The trim outline from the factory was vacuum metalized aluminum which doesn't last long. This was applied to the dash trim, small Oldsmobile emblem on the dash, gauge surround, defog trim bezel and the chrome outline on the reverse lights.
