Pulled the headliner and sun visors out last weekend. Not too bad of a job, now to decide on new from stock interiors, or have the originals redone here locally...what do you guys think?

Not familiar with the quality of stock ints, but I suppose it could come down to whether you want stock looking or something with a little kick to it, lol. Then again maybe base the decision on plain old cost? Hell, with no kids to spend it on, go for the good stuff

The visors would be the most difficult to DIY, you can buy the material and have yours recovered by an upholstery shop. If your headliner board is still ok then you can recover that yourself easily with spray glue.
Headliner material comes in 60" wide rolls and sells for around $20 a yard.Lightning Rods repair service:CLICK HERE

Took the headliner to a local shop, he's ordering the material today, having the visors done by http://www.autosunvisors.com/restoration.htm...we are or4dering enough material to do the visors as well. That way it will match perfect. The factory mirror is an issue to work around but these guys say they can do it.

The sun visors are here and installed! All that is left on this car is to flush the brakes and its good to go! I have driven her 100 miles in the last 4 days, I love it!
By the way, auotsunvisors.com did a fantastic job on my visors! I would recommend them to everyone!

I also want to redo my visors (Had to buy them from a junk yard but they fit) and want to do my headliner. I found out that the headliner is supposed to have cardboard or something of the sort behind it, but when I bought my car, it only had the very ceiling of the roof in it. I was told not to put in my diamond tuck headliner until I get that cardboard piece but I do not know what it is or looks like. Can anybody help?

The headliner board is foam and very fragile.
I would get the ABS board with headliner from any supplier of Gbody parts, Google should list a few.
I would do the same with the visors, tough to recover them yourself, if you have a sewing machine you can give it a go...Lightning Rods repair service:CLICK HERE

No, it would be uneven and look like shit.
The headliner board is not cardboard.
It's up to you what you want to achieve in the end result, as they say... do it right or do it twice.Lightning Rods repair service:CLICK HERE
