  • New gremlin...

    Found a new gremlin over the weekend...power locks don't work Never tried them before...oh well, I guess its all part of owning an older car.

    Power lock relay is bad, its located behind the computer.

      Do the power locks also have their own fuse? Maybe a red 10 amp fuse in the main fuse block near the drivers feet... I'm not by my car now or I'd look... I've had too many dang fuses lead me on wild goose chases before so it's always my first check! Relay is definitely a known culprit or a bad ground wire, but I'm guessing that would only affect the lock that wasn't grounded...Good hunting!

          There's a big plug near the top of the fuse box, I think it's red. Sometimes it comes loose from vibration. Push it back in tight and that should solve your problem
