  • Pretty Sad if this is real

Came up on Chicago Craigslist.... Listed as a 1988 Cutlass LV2 which was a very rare car....Basiclly GM using up leftover Hurst/442 parts before they shunned the RWD cars...

High Output 307, 3.08 gears/posi, & Hurst Spoiler were a few of the options

Of Course this one is missing a lot of what made it a lv2, its rusty, & probably overpriced....

I had an APP that found this one, first time an LV2 popped up in quite a while, Sad to see a car they only made a few of in this shape...

I emailed the guy & asked how it could be authenticated as a LV2....He said it still had the window stickers & he may or may not have the original build sheet which indicated LV2....he also mentioned that he still had the original engine partially disassembled...

This would be a cool car to restore to its original glory...In My Opinion....Too bad it isn't listed for a lot less $$....

It might be worth 1000 or so without the chevy engine. Not sure why everyone thinks a sbc is the answer. Dennis
