Swapping a TH-350 for a TH-2004R

I'm looking to go 4-speed with my 442 and ditch the TH-350.
I'm running a stock Olds 350.anyone have any suggestions as to which TH-2004R is the best for my application?
i.e. shift points, converter, required cross-member modification, etc...

The BR or BQ from a turbo regal or GN is best from a stock point of view. The CZ or CQ from the MCSS and the KZ or OZ from the 442 are also very good for a starting point. Also the AA from a Cadillac is a good starting point.
As for the shift points and TC stall of these trans' they vary, someone might be able to chime in on that but you can swap out the governors on them to get it to where you want it, Summit has kits for these and the stock OZ and KZ trans' have a 2400 stall converter.
You will also need a new crossmember I believe.

You will be able to keep your driveshaft but need a different crossmember and a frame extension, check out "Iceman's" products:
