Headers are not hard to install in a g-body Cutlass with a small block, why bother with divided port manifolds?
They are still restrictive and heavy factory manifolds.
if you are running in a class that requires it too be factory appearing they are just the ticket. you can have them extrude honed and they will actually flow quite well.

For sure, they are good if you are putting them in a show car or something along those lines. I was unsure if the look of them would hurt you points wise since they don't look like any factory SB manifold.
I have also been vary wary of cast manifolds. I had a nice pair of W/Z manifolds on my 88 and when I went to replace them with headers they had a few cracks in them.
Plus I have seen many broken bosses and cracked ports on ones that come up for sale...
But you can't beat new and it's awesome that Thorton's is putting the effort in providing these to the community. Metal today is much higher quality and I'm sure these will handle anything you throw at them.
