I have a V6 83 Cutlass and cant find a welder or shop that will cut out my cat and put a straight pipe but weld flanges so I can swap them out at will. Does anybody know my pipe size so that I can custom fab it myself?

I don't see the point with a V6, you're not going to see any performance gains.
Heck my 455 runs through a single CAT.
if the CAT is clogged you should replace it.
Besides, its illegal in most states for a shop to tamper with a CAT.
