  • Electical Fuel Pump Pressure

Anyone running an electrical fuel pump setup?
Does anyone have any suggestions as to regulator/line pressure with a Q-jet to avoid flooding the carb out?
I'm sure there is a limit as to the what the float needle can handle.

Set your regulator between 6.5 and 8 p.s.i, are you planning on running Nitrous?

I run 7psi on 850 Demon, 6 on Qjet. I beleave the Holly Fuel pumps are 7 psi factory. ( unless you are performance)I'd try to stay away from pressure reg if possable just another part to fail.

My 442 had 4 PSI from a junk Mr. Gasket pump. Didnt flood or fall on it face at and above 5000-6000 RPM. Replaced with mechanical pump and nothing has changed.
