Under Hood Insulation

I got my new OEM under hood liner today. Right from GM, part Number 22506796 lists for $180, but nobody pays retail!

Sure, I called my local dealer (Berger Chevy) and they said Vintage Parts out of Beaver Dam Wisconsin is where they come from. They only sell to dealers according to my local guy.

I could order another, takes a couple of days for me to get and then to ship out to you. Let me fit mine to the car first before I tell you its perfect. I will take mine home in the next day or so to instal and get back to ya. You would think it would be perfect but about the time I say it and don't check something will go wrong!

I will be putting it in tonight, I also grabbed a new shifter handle from our local dealer and got it ready to install. So tomorrow we will know!

Hood Liner Available!

Hi everyone,

I found this forum because I have this Hood liner (part #22506796) NIB and this page came up.
My brother passed away about a year ago and I have a garage full of Oldsmobile! Everyone seems interested but that is as far as it gets.

I have several other Oldsmobile parts, some new, most used. I have 3 automatic transmissions, one of them is a 400 and one is a 350?, and the third goes with the 455 that I have (needs to be rebuilt). There is a 403 that has been rebuilt and is still wrapped in plastic. There is at least 3 shoe boxes full of misc. interior things, small switches, power antennas...........the list goes on........ All of these things have to go. I also have this radiator
