I put the keys into my car and everything works. It chimes when the door is open, all the interior lights work. Problem is, when I turn it into the second click, everything is killed. 0 power anywhere. No interior lights, chiming sound, no nothing. I turn it back to the first click and everything works again. What worked earlier was my punching my steering column right behind the steering wheel, but that did not work the last time. Anybody have any suggestions?

When I've encountered this problem it was a loose battery cable at the battery or starter or a dead battery.
This looks different though.
Did you replace the ignition tumbler?
There is a rod that runs down the column that is moved by the tumbler and pushes a switch on the left side top of the column under the dash.
The rod may have come dislodged or the switch is bad.Lightning Rods repair service:CLICK HERE

Sounds like you have a pinched wire from the tilt mechanism.
I had a similar problem on my '87 442 where I would have to tilt the column up just right to get it to start, the tilt was loose due to a loose bolt in the tilt mechanism.Lightning Rods repair service:CLICK HERE

I checked and the wire was indeed pinched, but not enough to make it not start. I had the battery tested and it was weak. My stereo system beat the battery to death. It was 7 years old anyways. I am surprised that it lasted that long to be honest.
Thank you once again 88HurstOlds!!
