What's the best method to clean up my 15" chrome 442 wheels? Mine have a little rust in the grooves and are dull. They also need to be painted in the center.

if the wheels are dull they most likely arent going to "polish up" the Chrome is wore off. BUT.....your saving grace may be that they still have the factory clear coat on the wheels (dont know if 86 442s had the clear). If they do have the clear on it can be stripped off with paint stripper and you will have beautiful chrome beneath it. Its a nice weekend project and i would suggest the tires be off the rims.sigpic
