Is that a new pan or did you hot tank yours?
Is there a zinc coating on it?

It is a brand new oil pan and yes I put a zinc coating on it. The original pan is rusted enough that oil leaks through the pan. This was the main reason I took the car off the road in 2001.

Cool... there is anotyer guy on gBodyForum.com redoing a black 85' Canadian 442 that he just started a frame off restoration on...I wonder if they ever made Canadian versions of the 83/84 hurst?

I plan on doing a frame off in the future, I have a 67 Impala convertible torn down right now. Gotta get one done first.
