The Gbody Culass Model is Finally Here!!!

I just received a phone call from Angelo Valanti that Revelle will be coming out to take measurements of his '83 Hurst Olds to finally produce a Gbody Cutlass model.
Theres also talk of a 2 or 3 in one kit to make an '84 H/O and they might be sending them to my house to take stripe measurements for the 442.
We also threw the idea around the FE3X Darth car and my '88 Hurst Olds by adding in extra pieces to the kit.

Update on 83 hurst revell model

Well Ed came over this morning and took pictures and measurement's off the 83 Hurst Olds. Going to meet him NEXT monday at the Corvette shop across the street to get the car on the lift and do undercarriage pics. We talked awhile afterwards before he left and he explained the process, once all the test shots etc, are done , everything is sent over to china and they have them mock one up, pics get sent back , Revell goes oover them , sends back what to change , improve on etc, and then in about a year you get the release date of model.
He said we'll see a 2 in 1 model kit, as in a 1983- 1984 Hurst Olds, and another model kit, a 1980's 442 and low rider kit, and he is coming back at a later date to take measurements , pictures of the Oldsmobile FE3-X concept car Revell model kit, may be part of the G Body Hurst kit, so you can make the Hurst or FE3-X cars.
Really interesting to see the beginning process, and he said I was welcome to see the next process to see how they go to making the final model cars.
I will release details as soon as Ed gives them to me, but right now your looking at about a year out he said.

BTW, does anyone have any detailed drawings/schematics of the 307 motor, Ed will need these for the model kit, or can give him access to a 307 motor out of a car for detailed pics he needs for the model, looking for someone in Chicago-land area to get pics since he is located in the Elk Grove in Illinois. Get back to me and let me know

Does anybody know when this kit is comming out. I need to build it for a friend of mine.

Hay friends. I am a professional model builder. If anybody is interrested in building this kit and doing some mods to it, I found just about any engine you would want to use at meggahobby.com. (eccept the 307). As I said earlier I am going to be building this kit for a friend. He is building an 84 Hurst. He wanted me to find a 350 for his and that site has it. Good luck everybody.

1983 H/O Revell Model - PHOTOS NEEDED

Photos are needed to complete the 1983 Hurst Olds model car being developed by Revell.

Angelo Valanti has already provided a car for a majority of the development however photos of an engine bay without a motor but not completely stripped of the under hood components and photos of a complete 307 out of the car with all the emissions stuff still attached are needed.
These do not have to be from a 1983 Hurst Olds but of any 81-88 307 equipt car.

If you would like to be a part of this development please submit your photos below or any other photos of a 1983 H/O engine bay, chassis and other areas besides the exterior or interior would be great.
Cars must be complete and original, I need to submit these photos to the development team at Revelle within the next couple weeks, I have a bunch to submit but I figured I'd also extend the offer to see if anyone is currently doing work on their stock 307 81-88 Cutlass.

Models should be available later this fall/winter.

84 Olds

This is my friends 2 years work in progress on a 84 Olds Hurst. He's the car nut and I'm the computer nut/pro model builder. This is the chassis of a 83 olds with a 338 Stroker engine. On the outside of the garage door is an exposed 307 engine still mounted in the original 83 olds. He has the body shell and will be using the remaing parts from the 83 to complete the 84. Will be getting pics next weekend to speed up the production of the REVELL 83/84 olds hurst. Hope this helps.
