According to www.Oldsgmail.com there were 17,512 made with 3000 being 442's.
Most likely no one has cloned your car, but could have stuck the emblems on the sail panel and replaced the emblems on the door panels or the door panels themselves.
You can look at the body plate or RPO sticker in the trunk to see if you have the AR9 Bucket Seat RPO code since all of these came with Bucket Seats and a Console. You may not have the body plate on the cowl by the wiper blades since most 85's did not have these for some reason.
