help please with headliner questions for a 1984 Hurst coupe

I just posted a request for counsel and guidance concerning headliner for 84 hurst coupe, in the section for interiors. Anyone having an extra moment or two to read it, I would be grateful for your advice, as Hurst owners.

I also own an 84 HO and what I did with the headliner in mine was take out the board the cloth attaches to, cleaned it and painted it with interior paint to match.
Reinstalled it and it looks great! I have had many compliments on it at shows, not original but is effective for now! Just an idea for you!
