  • New From Connecticut

    Hello All,

    I have a '86 442 that I have owned since 1993.
    I had a '85 442 before this one with T-Tops which I wish I still owned.
Well anyways the '86 just went emissions exempt this year and I kinda have a renewed interest in this car, time for a winter project.

This pic is from a couple years ago, threw the wheels on just to bring it to the emissions testing. The beads on the original wheels are gone from sitting so long.
It needs Some TLC to get it safe for the road and some upgrades soon!

Welcome, I'm glad emissions is gone for older cars here in Illinois.
My dad had a brake line snap and they totaled the front end of his 70 Cutlass

Thanks for the welcome 88, thats to bad about your dads car. My rear brake line let go leaving emissions around when that pic was taken. I lucked out and krept home slow. I still have to replace that line.

Cool, been here all my life, called it Uselessville till we got the Casino......LOL
The wife and I head up to Heritage Trail on Rt 169 across from Ross Hill once in a while. Used to work for the cable company for a while up there too. Nice & quiet out those parts!
