Hey there, glad to be able to find like minded people here. My 1978 Salon Brougham has just landed in Australia, it's another two weeks till it gets through customs and quarantine then it'll hit the road. Still can't believe the condition of the car and the price I paid. If any one can give any details of the option on the roof I'd be really happy, I've gone through thousands of photo's and can't find any other cars with it.

Looks like you have the special Tahoe interior package as well.
The roof band is standard on Salon Broughams, you probably cant find any other photos of one since only 10,741 were ever produced and most likely less than 1,000 still exist, if that...Lightning Rods repair service:CLICK HERE

It has only done @48k miles, has 260 motor, a/c. A couple of very minor dents to be pulled out.The missing trunk decal and fender flag decal have both been purchased off Ebay for $20. The Tahoe design on the interior is original as well as everything else on the car.
All the time spent trawling through the the classifieds, Ebay and Auto Trader have paid off quite well I think.Comment
