  • Hello From SW MN

Here for like minded help and support, I have currently just put my 1987 442 down for a frame off restoration at 184,000 miles of Minnesota Roads.

The car has been worked on some, I have a Olds 350 in it now (just let go) and thats backed by the OE 200r4 and 3.73 8.5" posi rear

It has needs and issues related to MN winters, body and frame repair.....

Thanks in advance for all of your input and advice

    Welcome to the forum!

Very Nice to hear that you are Restoring it & not scrapping it! That salt & sand can cause some damage, I see lots of g.bodies rusted beyond belief here in Nebraska...

What are your plans? Rebuild existing 350? Metal Replacement of rusted panels? Does the frame need work or just cleaned up?

How many miles have you had the car? & just curious, is it HardTop, T.Tops, Or Astro Roof?
