  • G Body Cutlass Model??

I was just speaking to the people at West Coast Precision Diecast.(http://www.wcpdi.com/)
I ordered one of their 1/24 scale Daily Driver Series '03 Cadillac Sixteen.
Check out the detail on their models. They aren't cheap, but they look great.
I mentioned how no one produces a G body Cutlass in 1/24.He said Brian (I think he said Brian, anyhow, the boss of WCPDI) is always looking for ideas, and if enough people contacted them, they would look into the licensing rights from GM.He said GM licensing fees run around $40,000, so it's a big hill to climb. However, if enough of us contact them, you never know.
I will post this around the 'net and hope other people who want a 1/24 model G body Cutlass will do the same.
    Here is the contact information.

I heard of a G-body model by Revell or something along those lines a few years back, never could find one though.
    I'll shoot an email over

yeah, I never understood why there's Grand National and even Regal models, but never any Cutlasses. I mean how hard would it be to mod them a lil....

Until recently I've never seen any matchbox car-sized G-body Cutlasses. Now there's a 83/84 Hurst matchbox car. I don't think it's actually Matchbox brand, but you get the idea.

I tried modifying a Grand National model car to make it look like a Cutlass. Didn't work so well

Yes, I have one of those and they also made an 83 and 84 H/O as well. The 84's are harder to find because they only came in a boxed set with several other cars.
